Approach to Care

I work primarily from a Person-Centered, Trauma-Informed perspective, and utilize several evidenced based treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT), Eye Movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR), and Brief Solution Focused Therapy (BSFT).

Hello and welcome! If you’ve found your way to this page you’ve taken the first step toward your healing journey. My name is Bonnie Rusch and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Behavioral Health Therapist. Since 2016 I have worked in a variety of mental health settings supporting adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and interpersonal relationship issues.

Conveniently located in Westminster, Co.

I consider myself an integrative therapist. In your first few sessions, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and then decide the most appropriate ways to help you make progress. With CBT, DBT, and ACT, you will learn coping skills to help adjust your thinking and habits. With EMDR the focus is on unprocessed trauma, this method can help desensitize the effects of traumatic memories.

We can work together to identify your treatment goals, and fill your toolbox with the coping strategies you need to live your best life.

I have over seven years of experience in supporting adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, interpersonal conflict and trauma. After receiving my license in 2020 I have received higher level training in advanced CBT and EMDR therapy.

I’m credentialed with most insurance companies through Sondermind and Headway, but can also provide a superbill for out of network clients to help with reimbursement. Please reach out with any questions, I'm happy to work with you to keep therapy affordable.

I go to therapy to deal with
people who don’t go to therapy.
